A Strong Community
A strong community creates the conditions for valuable work and successful business.
For many years Acctopus has been involved in projects that support people who need our help or that help saving our environment. We either support organisations directly or support our employees in realizing projects in their voluntary activities.
Children plant 1,000.000,000 trees.
In May 2014 the Acctopus GmbH organized a Plant-for-the-Planet academy in Neuss. In a one-day workshop children at the age of 7-12 years informed children of the same age about the climate changes and explained to them what each of us can do about it.
Although the workshop took place during the Easter holidays 33 children from six schools in Neuss participated. Official sponsor was District Administrator Jürgen Petrauschke. He thanked the children for their commitment and in the evening handed over the certificates as „Plant-for-the-Planet“ climate ambassadors.
We would like to thank the company Garten- und Landschaftsbau Küsters, which accompanied the planting activities. Since it was already too hot in May to plant the little trees the children took them home to care for them during the summer. In a second step in automn the trees will be planted on a property in Rheinkreis Neuss.
Lions Club Neuss Novaesia
We support the volunteers of the Lions Clubs Neuss Novaesia in terms of direct on-site help and indirect support like hosting and maintaining their Website.
Moreover we ask our business partners for help. Mr. Schulte-Bockum (Vodafone GmbH) for example allowed the members of the Lions Club to perform parts of the annual parcel campaign of the Friedensdorf Oberhausen in the staff restaurant of the new Vodafone Campus in Düsseldorf.

The association for youth welfare and family support of the Protestant church (Evangelischer Verein für Jugend- und Familienhilfe e.V.) offers psychological support for children and young people who live in difficult family environments. In agreement with the Youth Welfare Offices the children and young people may also stay for longer periods if required.
In December 2013 we equipped the common room of the Educational Ambulant Service of the association with a large-format screen.
